Looking for Mr. Greentree

I was just reminiscing this morning and decided to look at some older pictures of Aaron to see if Sarah looks like Aaron when he was only a few weeks old. I ran across a picture that I had called "Looking for Mr. Greentree" and I remembered that Paige and Robert had a nice tree in the front of their Lexington house and Aaron would calm down when he looked at the tree and we just started calling it Mr. Greentree. I had almost forgotten about Mr. Greentree. Sweet Memories. Well, I still can't tell if Sarah looks like Aaron as a newborn. They are both dolls to me.

Such a Good Baby

Sarah is such a good baby. She just eats and sleeps and sleeps and sleeps. Paige has to wake her up to get her to eat.

She even sleeps through Aaron's favorite Christmas present!

Aaron is a great drummer. After he finished playing the drums we all clapped for him and he held his drumsticks out, said thank you, and took a bow. What a doll!

A Few Other Tidbits About The Birth

It was a very, very stormy day.

Aaron's first words on viewing his baby sister: "Ewww, gross" (She was in the process of being cleaned up)

Aaron's second statement regarding his new baby sister: "Baby crying" ....a statement he will repeat constantly over the next several days

Sarah, Paige and Robert stayed in room 365 at the UK Birthing Center

Aaron found the electronics of the bed much more interesting than his new sister. In fact he played with it so much, that even the nurses could not get the bed to work properly after he left.

Poppy had to drive from Benham to Lexington because he had taken Papa and GG back home. You were born before he arrived at the hospital.

Paige and Robert forgot to take their camera, so all of the pictures were taken with a new camera that we were not familiar with. I had just bought the new camera.

Sharon and Phil came to visit.

Tammy and Carvel came to visit

You were born on a Wednesday night and came home on Saturday morning.

Aaron stayed in Berea with me and Poppy. He visited the hospital on Friday.
