Children Can Sure Make You Smile

Well, it won't be long until Santa comes and the kids are so excited. Aaron gets so excited talking about Santa that he almost dances. Sarah isn't that wild about Santa, and just wants presents...Christmas and birthday for our sweet Christmas Eve baby!

Sarah is particularly good at rearranging the ornaments. She wants to get them just right!

Aaron wanted his picture taken too. He wouldn't put a shirt on, so I guess this is a VERY informal picture at the Christmas tree!

They are so sweet together, she watched and mimics everything he does.

Christmas morning is sure going to be fun around my house! I am almost as excited as Aaron.

Christmas Blessings and a very Happy New Year to all!!!!!

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!!

Snow, snow and more snow. It is really pretty, but very cold. Unfortunately, this cold weather makes me hungry! I can eat all day long in weather like this. Today I made a blueberry cobbler...nothing like warm cobbler on a cold day; unfortunately, I didn't have any ice cream to eat with it...but, I didn't let that keep me from eating more than I should have.

Gene loves to play in the snow....here he is getting the snow off the boat cover. He measured 6 1/2 inches on top of the camper, so we have a pretty good snow.

The Stockings were hung by the chimney with care...

I had planned on embroidering names on the stockings, but wasn't having a whole lot of luck, so I decided that since Aaron is the only one that can read, I would just put their pictures on their stockings so that they will know which one is theirs. My printer doesn't work too good, but they will do.I took the folks back home Friday, but I don't know how long they will be able to stay over there. Mother just kept saying she wanted to go home and looked so sad. So, today is her birthday. I called her to tell her happy birthday and asked if anyone had called and she said "I guess they don't know where I am" and I said "mother, they know that you are home now" and she said "Well, I'm not at home, I'm at this other house"...............Sheesh

Kash is Visiting!

Chuck has to work over the Christmas holiday, so we are celebrating early with them. Daddy and Mother have spent a few days at my sisters' house and they love being around Kash. He is a doll and very alert considering he is just a month old!
We are trying to decide whether or not to let mother and daddy go home, or to keep them over here. It is a hard decision. Alzheimer's is such a horrible disease...........
