Princess Sarah!

Tonight Sarah went to a princess ball with her daddy.  What a doll!  She is actually wearing high heels, but her daddy took her ballet shoes just in case her feet get tired from all the dancing.  She was really excited that they were having Princess Cake!

I miss sweet Sarah!

Run Trenton Run!!!

Yesterday we went to Trenton's track meet to cheer him on. He is a great runner. He placed in his races and out ran lots of older, bigger kids. It was so fun to watch. The kids were all so cute. It is so sweet to see the little kindergarten girls running the track with their bows in their hair and cute little socks and lots of really big smiles.

Here he is coming around the second turn leading the pack.

Here are his admiring fans.....Go Trenton!

Check out that stride!

Pumping those arms.....the kid has form!
The mothers talking it over
It was so much fun. I can't wait until the next meet!

Big Lagoon State Park

This was our kind of state park. Nothing fancy, but it was a nice park. It backed up to the Bay and had a wonderful walkway to the water. Lots of bathhouses and places to ride and walk.

Ft. Pickens National Seashore

While we were in Pensacola we decided to run over to Ft. Pickens national seashore to check out their campground. The campground was ok, not the greatest we have ever seen, but the other parts of the park were beautiful. The beach was so white and the water was beautiful. There were a lot of kites on the beach. There are also a lot of remains of the old fort. Maybe sometime in the waaaayyyy distant future we might give this campground a try.

Roosevelt's Little White House

While we were on the way to Florida, we stopped for a tour of Roosevelts Little White House. The house is located in Warm Springs GA. President Roosevelt started going to Warm Springs in the 1920's when it was thought that the warm natural springs in the area were helpful in treating polio. In the 30's, he purchased a small house there and spent as much time there as he could. He died at his house in Warm Springs. We really enjoyed the tour of the little house and pools.

This was his car that was equipped with hand controls that he invented.
The walk at his house is lined with all of the state flags with stones from each state.

Spring Break 2012

Spring break in Indianapolis with the kiddos!

Here they are on the virtual ride at Snapparooz. A great place to spend a cool rainy day
Next stop is the Indianapolis Childrens Museum. A great place to have a heart attack trying to keep up with the kids!

The cutest little soda jerk EVER!
On an archeological expedition.
Aaron says "woman drivers"

And after all the fun of the day, it was nice to cool off in the pool! Very cool!
Sarah made the cutest comment of the trip. She was standing on the side of the pool and hollered at me.."come over here and catch me you big old mermaid" I, of course, was the "big, old mermaid :) !!!
