My son-in-law is a stay at home dad. He seems to be really good at it. He is constantly taking the kids out to parks and events in their area. Anyone that has ever had two kids under 3 1/2 knows what a job it is to take them anywhere. I once went two months without leaving the house when mine were babies. But, Robert just packs them up and off they go. They go on train trips into the city, ball games (I'm talking big league, with huge crowds) parks, shopping and lots of other places. My hat's off to him! I know it isn't easy.

Sarah really enjoyed the game!

Aaron looking for the bathroom! Notice the city scape in the background.

This is one worn out little boy fast asleep on the train!
WOW many congrats for Robert. Those children will be so much more socially adept and culturally versed because they moved away. Maybe that will help ease your pain MiMi.We did what we could for our children with what we had to offer. I'm proud of all our new parents; they take many more risks than we did. We raised them to be confident and self assured. This is the results. Gloat in it Mimi. Reap the wonderful seeds that you have sown.
ReplyDeleteHey MIMI, Why is it that we are usually the only ones that comment? I like to have comments so I know that someone is reading my blog. YA!! How about you?
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. It would be good to have other comments, but I have to admit that I am guilty of following several blogs (some for years) that I have never commented on.
